PM700 Paramagnetic oxygen analyser

Product catalog summary
Overview: The PM700 series by Systech Illinois offers high-performance paramagnetic oxygen analysers designed for high purity oxygen measurement with full percent range capability. These analysers are equipped with a paramagnetic sensor and PID temperature control for optimal performance.
Key Features:
  • Paramagnetic sensor with PID temperature control.
  • Optional barometric pressure compensation for purity analysis.
  • Auto calibration and large autoranging LED display.
  • Excellent linearity and accuracy, conforming to European Directives 89/336/EEC and 73/23/EEC.
Principle of Operation: The analyser uses Faraday’s method, where a dumbbell with nitrogen-filled spheres rotates within a magnetic field. Oxygen in the sample gas is attracted to the magnetic field, causing the dumbbell to rotate. The degree of rotation, measured by a light beam and photocells, is proportional to the oxygen concentration.
Configurations: The PM700 series offers three configurations:
  • NEMA 4X/IP66 waterproof and weatherproof.
  • 19-inch rack mount.
  • Panel or bench mount.
Applications: Suitable for various industries including chemical, petrochemical, electronics, metals, pharmaceuticals, ceramics, and food packaging.
Technical Specifications:
  • Measurement range: 0.01 to 100% O2.
  • Detection limit: 0.01% O2.
  • Response time: T90 less than 6 seconds.
  • Linearity: Better than ±0.1% O2.
  • Operating conditions: Sample gas pressure 0.1 to 5 BarG, ambient temperature -10 to +45°C.
Outputs & Alarms: Includes RS232/485 communications, analogue outputs, high/low alarms, and fault alarms.
Additional Options: High/low alarms, analogue outputs, pressure compensation, and sample stream options are available.
Contact Information: Systech Illinois has offices in the U.S., UK, Thailand, and China, providing global support and service.
