BE-300 / BE-500 Beam Expander (3x and 5x expansion) Safeguard your laser’s optics in dirty and dusty environments with the Synrad BE beam expander Ensure that your laser and production line is safeguarded with extra protection from dirt and dust with the Synrad BE-300 or BE-500 beam expander. Small, lightweight and easy-to-install, the BE-300 expands and collimates the beam diameter of your laser’s output by 3x, and the BE-500 expands and collimates the beam diameter by 5x, reducing or eliminating damaging hot-spots and optics damage that can sometimes occur in harsh operating environments. Ruggedly crafted from a single block of aluminium and anodized for added corrosion resistance, BE beam expanders conveniently and easily mount to the front of the laser using slotted holes on the rear for maximum adjustability and perfect alignment. O-ring gaskets on both the face and back of the unit ensure a snug fit and fully airtight seal between the expander and the laser, and also between the expander and any other additional optical that users wish to affix. The interiors of the BE-300 and BE-500 are fully shielded from the operating environment and conforms to IP6 standards, and the two ZnSe Galilean telescopic lenses ensure stability and maximum transmission of light.
