The product has a simple and compact design that provides excellent performance and large coverage for 5G macro cell. It is explicitly designed for urban and town area and other similar outdoor scenarios. The Maxwell N249 supports 5G New Radio (NR) technology, and operates in either Time Division Duplexing (TDD) or Frequency Division Duplexing (FDD) mode. The Maxwell N249 is capable to support 2 cells with an extended RRU and software upgrade, providing 2-sectors coverage or remote coverage extension. The innovative zero foot print solution helps easy deployment and cost saving thanks to no need for equipment room and air conditioning. With high capacity and easy deployment, the Maxwell N249 gNB can help mobile operators to provide larger 5G coverage with lower network deployment cost and Operating Expense (OPEX).
