Corner radius endmills are often used for profile & copy milling in mould & tool making, and also offer increased strength to the cutting edges, as there are no square corners like finishing endmills, this allows for larger cuts to be taken. The 40° flute geometry combined with AlCrN coating (the latest coating advancements for carbide endmills) makes for excellent results in a wide range of materials upto 1300N/mm2, with superior resistance to abrasion & even when dry milling! The Endteeth cutting profile is designed for plunging as the geometry has cutting edges ground to the centre of the tool with sufficient space for the chips being produced.
