Suntech Power introduces the HiPerforma™ line of solar modules featuring PLUTO™ cells, offering enhanced efficiency and performance.

Specifications
The HiPerforma™ modules, including models PLUTO205-Ade, PLUTO200-Ade, and PLUTO195-Ade, provide 10-15% more efficiency per unit compared to conventional modules. They perform well under low light conditions, delivering 10-12% more electricity during mornings, evenings, and cloudy days. The modules have a better kWh/kW ratio, producing 2-5% more electricity in the field. They are highly reliable with a guaranteed 0/+5 W positive peak power tolerance and can withstand high wind-pressure, snow load, and extreme temperatures, having passed the IEC 5400 Pa mechanical loading test. The modules are also lead-free.

The modules come with an industry-leading power output warranty (12/90%, 25/80%) and are manufactured in ISO 9000:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certified factories.

PLUTO™ Cell Technology
PLUTO cells feature fine cell fingers (~30μm) for reduced surface shading and increased sunlight absorption. They undergo a Gallium-F22 doping process to inhibit Light Induced Degradation to less than 1%. The cells have high shunt resistance for enhanced low light performance and use pyramid texturing technology to reduce light reflection, increasing power output.

Electrical Characteristics
Each module type (PLUTO205-Ade, PLUTO200-Ade, PLUTO195-Ade) has specific electrical characteristics, including open-circuit voltage, optimum operating voltage, short-circuit current, and maximum power at STC. The modules operate within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and have a maximum system voltage of 1000 V DC.

Mechanical Characteristics
The modules are composed of 72 monocrystalline cells, measuring 1580 × 808 × 35 mm and weighing 15.5 kg. They feature a 3.2 mm tempered glass front and an anodized aluminum alloy frame.

Temperature Characteristics
The nominal operating cell temperature is 45 ±2 °C, with specific temperature coefficients for Pmax, Voc, and Isc.
