Overview of CYCLO® Drive Centrifuge Reducer
The CYCLO® Drive centrifuge reducer is designed to provide differential speed between the bowl and the conveyor in centrifuge systems. It features a balanced housing that rotates with the bowl, while the output shaft connects to the conveyor to transmit necessary torque for solid transport. The input shaft can be fixed or driven by a back drive motor to achieve the required relative speed.

Lubrication and Design Flexibility
The system supports flexible lubrication options, including grease and various oil types, tailored to customer needs. It is designed to fit diverse applications with customizable mounting dimensions.

Types and Applications
There are four main types of CYCLO® Drive centrifuge reducers:

• ZS: Single stage for applications where the conveyor turns faster than the bowl.
• ZSPN and ZSPV: Double stage for higher ratios; ZSPN for slower conveyor, ZSPV for faster conveyor.
• ZSPR: Double stage with differential planetary stage for variable relative speed, accommodating both slower and faster conveyor speeds.

Testing and Performance
Extensive testing is conducted using specially designed rigs to simulate centrifuge operations. Performance specifications include:

• Double stage reducers: 300 to 40,000 Nm maximum conveyor torque, 200 to 24,000 Nm rated torque, ratios from 40:1 to 260:1.
• Single stage reducers: 300 to 40,000 Nm maximum conveyor torque, 200 to 24,000 Nm rated torque, ratios from 6:1 to 87:1.
• ZSPR series: 1,300 to 40,000 Nm maximum conveyor torque, 800 to 24,000 Nm rated torque, ratios from 40:1 to 260:1.
