2.Main Concept (I)There are three main parts of access scaffolding: vertical, horizontal and diagonal. The dimensions are specifically designed for a variety of situations and applications. All components are hot dip galvanized for the antirust purpose to increase the product life for repeated use. (ll)There are several connections in the Ring System designed for multiple purposes. The rings on the vertical are spaced 45-50cm apart from each other and the wedge lock provides a secure connection with the vertical. RING SYSTEM ACCESS SCAFFOLDING 5.Dimensions and Specifications 5.1 Tube Jack Base The Tube Jack Base is easily adjusted for a level height according to terrain change. Threaded Tube 038.5mm x T:4.0mm x 600mmL(STK 400) Handle Nut (FCD450) *Note 1: Tube Jack Base with a stop to prevent the handle nut from getting out and to ensure the connection with vertical over 100mm for safe load bearing. 5.2 Mobility For mobile scaffolding, casters are used to replace tube jack bases. The mobile scaffolding is normally used indoors on level surfaces.

5.3 Vertical The vertical is the main support of the entire system connected by spigot. The pipe is Ø48.6mm × T:2.5mm(STK500) with standard dimensions as below: The rings of thickness 8mm are spaced 50cm apart from each other (or 45cm apart from each other for 0.9m and 1.8m verticals) with 8 holes for horizontal and diagonal assembly.

5.4 Spigot and U-Clip Two verticals are connected by a Spigot and secured by a U-Clip to avoid wind shifts or slippage. The spigot is made of Ø41.8mm × T:3.0mm × 240mmL(STK500) pipe. Vertical Snap Pin / U-Clip Spring Pin(inserted)

5.5 Horizontal The horizontal connects verticals and allows hanging of planks and staircases. The secure connection transfers all lateral forces to the verticals for maximum load capacity. 0.762m The pipe is Ø42.7mm × T:2.3mm (STK500) with standard dimensions as shown on the left: Rivet To secure the wedge inside the wedge lock. It can be removed to change the wedge. Cast Steel Horizontal Wedge Lock Horizontal wedge locks fixed by inserting the wedge into the small hole of ring and hammering the wedge tightly for a secure hold on the vertical.

5.7 Plank, Toe Board and Staircase The plank and staircase are embedded with holes for secure traction. Furthermore, they provide ideal moving lines and a stable workplace. Dimensions of Planks: 0.265m Staircase for Slip Form

5.8 Sub-Vertical 0.35m Application 1:Put the Sub-Vertical onto Tube Jack Base(Sleeve tube side up), and connected with the first layer of horizontals to make sure the frame is level and steady.
