Ex Certified Units
Operational hazards include ignition risks from static electricity during liquid processing. Environmental hazards involve potential ignition sources from collisions. Ensure earthing chains are fitted and electrical cables are kept dry and away from travel areas.
Lifting and Transporting the Unit
Ensure the unit is on a level surface and use appropriate lifting gear. Only qualified personnel should handle the unit. Secure the unit with guide ropes if necessary and use tension belts or tie-down straps during transport.
Unit Overview
The STM01-DRU01-SS is a four-wheeled pedestrian stacker designed for drums between 50-220 litres. It features a manual-hydraulic system and is intended for use on flat, level surfaces.
Pre-start Inspections
Inspect the unit for damage, check wheels, labels, and ensure the battery is charged. Test emergency stop and brakes, and inspect clamping mechanisms.
Operating the Lift and Lower Functions
Use the manual pump handle to lift the unit carriage and the lowering valve to lower it. Do not leave a raised load unattended.
Moving the Unit
Ensure the load does not exceed capacity and transport loads at a low height. Engage parking brakes when finished.
Clamping a Drum
Position the drum vertically, adjust the clamping band, and secure with a ratchet strap. Ensure the rim clamp is connected to the drum's top lip.
Tipping a Drum
Rotate the handle to tip the drum. The maximum allowable torque for rotating an offset load is 320Nm.
