The unit is electric-hydraulic powered. This means it can only be used as a guide to the battery status. It is possible that the unit will stop working before the battery condition meter reads 0%. For this reason, it is a good practice to keep the unit fully charged at all times when possible. Do not allow the batteries to be left in a discharged state as permanent damage can be caused to the batteries.
