GKN Stromag Periflex® Top Torque shaft coupling Instructions for the designer General The coupling hubs and the thrust rings are of C45, St52, or similar and are provided with an anticorrosion coating. The coupling is secured with stainless steel grade A4 bolts that prevent rusting in the threads. The shaft tyre is of natural rubber with fabric inlays placed across the radius or diagonal.
