Altra Motion Carbon Fiber Shaft Stromag’s Carbon Fiber Shaft is the perfect extension for our well-known couplings Periflex® VN or TRI-R for all available sizes. The Stromag carbon fiber shaft is suitable for all kinds of ships and particularly for fast ferries, luxury yachts, naval vessels and tug boats. The use of carbon fiber shafts allows to bridge longer distances without bearing support than a steel shaft with the same dimensions. Each shaft can be customized further, e.g. with Bulkhead Seals. The combination of the fiber shaft and the coupling is designed together to create a package solution, that fits the unique challenges of your application.
