Take cell or battery readings within seconds using the included pin probes or clamp probes. The SBS-6800 can be programmed with site names, battery details and pass/warning/fail alarm set points for ohmic measurements (pass/fail for voltage). All data is retained in the tester's internal memory and can be printed directly to the optional printer, or exported for creating reports or trending. No software program is required. Using the principle of conductance, the SBS-6800 measures the battery or cell's ability to pass electricity through it. Conductance testing is standard throughout the telecommunications industry and is an accepted “ohmic measurement” for NERC Compliance and IEEE recommended maintenance practices.
