Cutting technology STM EcoCut waterjet cutting systems are designed to be operated with pure water as well as for abrasive cutting. For the cutting process, water is pressed through a nozzle with a pressure of up to 6.000 bar, resulting in enormous speeds. The water exits with mach 2 to 3 (two to three times the velocity of sound).
