System Overview
The DM Series Digital Magnetometers utilize STL's advanced ADC technology, offering 32-bit resolution and a 26-bit dynamic range. These magnetometers employ fluxgates as magnetic sensors and integrate DXS for digital signal processing, resulting in sensors with digitally corrected geometry and temperature errors. They measure up to 1 mT with precise digitization immediately after sensor output, capturing three orthogonal field components at a maximum sample rate of 10 kHz. The system features low intrinsic noise levels and includes a virtual channel for total field measurement. Digital signal conditioning minimizes typical errors such as axes misalignment and temperature-induced drifts.
