Overview
The STEINERT HGS is a High Gradient Magnetic Separator designed for sorting free-flowing bulk materials in the fine-grained particle range from 200 µm to several millimeters. It is widely used in industries such as salt processing, building materials, and industrial minerals.

Applications
The separator features a modular design with single or multiple stages, each equipped with a short belt conveyor that transports material to a magnetic pulley. This pulley generates a high magnetic field gradient with strengths up to 20,000 Gauss, allowing for the processing of particles from 10 mm to less than 1 mm.

Technology
The STEINERT HGS uses a short conveyor belt with neodymium iron boron magnets in its head drum to separate weak magnetic mineral components. The alternating pattern of magnets and steel discs creates high field gradients. The equipment is designed for easy adjustment to suit specific operating conditions.

Specifications
The separator offers working widths up to 1500 mm and belt thicknesses down to 150 microns, ensuring maximum field strength. It also includes a knife splitter for precise separation.
