PARTS STORE AT STUV PEED Up until recently, several conventional warehouses have been operated on the 27,000 m² of company grounds. They no longer satisfied today’s logistical requirements. Following the demolition of an old production side at the end of 2010, a 50 meters long and nine meters high building has been erected. The capacity of the new warehouse amounts to 26,700 double deep stored containers (600 mm x 400 mm x 220/440 mm). 50 YEARS OF HIGH SECURITY Since 1960 Steinbach & Vollmann has been producing locks for the high security sector. Everything began with the production of single-sided lockable cell doors which have a convertible locking mechanism. These were initially installed in detention areas in police stations. Many of these locks are still in use and available. Even after over half a century our customers are still able to receive newly produced replacement locks and spare parts. In new construction projects and building refurbishments, smoke and fire protection is of very high importance. Also for this reason we want an independent organization to examine and evaluate our high security locks.
