Sliding locks for square bar

Sliding locks for square bar

Sliding locks for square bar

Product catalog summary
Specifications:
The document provides detailed specifications for QCSQ sliding locks designed for square bars. It includes part numbers, dimensions (H, D, d), and weights for different models, available in orange and black colors. The materials used include SUS304 stainless steel for the body and die-cast zinc with chrome plating for the knob.

Procedures:
Instructions on how to use the sliding locks are provided. The locks can slide when in the 'OFF' position and lock the steel bar in the 'ON' position. The knob clicks at both positions to ensure secure locking/unlocking. It is crucial to mount the locks in the 'OFF' position to avoid damage.

Norms and Recommendations:
The document advises using flat bars made of SS400, S45C, or SUS304 materials. It also provides guidelines for using scale plates and riser plates, which are available separately. The scale plate should fit inside the designated slot to prevent interference.

Performance and Limitations:
The sliding locks have a heat resistance of up to 90°C. The rated load capacity is up to 500N for models 1212 and 1616, and up to 800N for models 2509, 2512, 3212, and 3216. Displacement data under static load conditions is provided, indicating potential increases due to shock, vibration, or foreign substances.

Additional Features:
The document highlights the use of tapped holes for attachments and the importance of guides or supports if the bar slips under load. It also notes that aluminum bars may get scratched or dented under load.
