Product catalog summary
Specifications:
QCSL Sliding Locks are designed for slotted holes and are available in orange and black colors. The locks are made from SUS304 stainless steel, with a weight of 80 grams. The body knob is die-cast zinc with chrome plating, and the shafts and wedge plunger are made from stainless steel and polyacetal.

Riser Plates:
Riser plates are available for use with sliding locks, made from SUS304 stainless steel. They can accommodate various steel thicknesses and are ordered separately. The recommended machining tolerance for slotted holes is provided to prevent chattering.

Features and Usage:
The sliding locks allow the steel bar to slide when in the 'OFF' position and lock it in the 'ON' position. The knob clicks at both positions for secure operation. It is crucial to mount the locks when the knob is in the 'OFF' position to avoid damage.

Scale Plate:
A scale plate is available separately, allowing users to read measurements with a line on the body of the sliding lock.

Technical Information:
The sliding locks have a heat resistance of up to 90°C and a rated load of up to 500N. Displacement of the steel bar can occur due to excess shock, vibration, or the presence of oil or foreign substances. Guides or supports may be necessary if slippage or chattering occurs.

Performance Curve:
The document includes a performance curve showing the displacement of the steel bar under static load from a single direction, with data applicable to SUS304 stainless steel, SS400 steel, and S45C steel.

■ Steel Bar Materials ■Usable Materials: Flat bar (JIS h14 grade) made of SS400, S45C or SUS304 etc. ■Machining of slotted hole: Recommended tolerance of the slotted hole to prevent chattering is shown as below. For more accurate sliding, machine the slotted hole to fit the dimension of 10mm(-0.05 to 0) on the bottom of Sliding Locks. Remove the burr around the slotted hole to ensure secure locking. Thickness (see the table below) Can be used for various steel thicknesses by attaching the Riser Plates (to be ordered separately). ■ How To Use Scale Plate ■You can read the scale with the line on...
