CRIMPING TOOLS CT10 Kearney (not shown) Accepts standard Kearney dies. It is compatible with the following tooling and die application: Small and lightweight tool ideal for service entrance termination and underground crimping. It accepts 90% of available service entrance connectors and accommodates wires up to 4/0 in (13 mm) diameter. Uses an Anderson Die-Less head designed for use with Anderson-style connectors. CT10 Burndy (not shown) Accepts standard Burndy U-type dies. It is compatible with the following tooling and die application: Compatibility Burndy, Y35, L, H Alcoa, 12A, 12AC, 12HA, 12HAC and 30A With its unique C-frame opening of 11/2 inches permits the operator to crimp material up to 750 MCM aluminum or copper cable. The larger opening can eliminate the need for larger, more expen-sive 15 ton tools when crimping large connec-tors that don’t require 15 tons of die load. The CT10 STANLEY® accepts standard Burndy Utype dies. There is a CT head combination that will accept most of the dies you are already using. • Determine the operating pressure of your hydraulic power source. This is important since these tools are designed and built for operation within specific hydraulic sys-tem parameters. • The hydraulic system you intend to use must fall within the following nominal specifications: 1,650 psi/ 114 bar to 2500 psi/172 bar.
