The power supply operates on three phase power to produce a smooth, stable welding arc. The front panel digital display indicates the weld time, which is infinitely adjustable for precision and repeatability. The expanded time range provides fine adjustment of weld time for special short cycle applications, such as welding on thin base materials. A specially designed electronic welding tool control circuit has been incorporated to increase overall reliability. If a fault condition occurs due to a shorted weld tool solenoid or a faulty control cable, the circuit will prevent the weld tool from re-triggering and eliminate damage to printed circuit boards.
