Product Description: STALOC 2S22 is a low-strength, anaerobic adhesive designed for securing and sealing threads that require disassembly without tools. It is ideal for fine threads and offers high resistance to corrosion, vibration, water, gases, oils, hydrocarbons, and various chemicals.

Physical Properties (Liquid): The adhesive is purple and fluorescent under blue light, with a viscosity of 800-1,400 mPas at 25°C. It can fill gaps up to 0.20 mm and is suitable for threads up to M24. The density is 1.09 g/ml, with a flash point over 100°C. The chemical base is Dimethacrylic ester, and it has a shelf life of at least one year at 25°C.

Physical Properties (Cured): When cured, the adhesive becomes finger-tight in 15-30 minutes, functionally cures in 1-3 hours, and fully cures in 5-10 hours. It has a breakaway torque of 5-8 Nm and a shear strength of 3-5 N/mm². The temperature resistance ranges from -55°C to +150°C.

Chemical Resistance: After 24 hours of polymerization, the adhesive shows excellent resistance to motor oil, gearbox oil, gasoline, and brake fluid, with good resistance to water/glycol mixtures.

Application: The adhesive should be applied to clean, degreased metal surfaces. STALOC technical cleaners are recommended for optimal adhesion. The curing time can be accelerated with a STALOC activator. For disassembly, heat the substrates to over 200°C.

Storage: Store the product between 5°C and 25°C in a cool, dry place. Avoid contamination after opening to maintain shelf life.
