Product catalog summary
Applications
Hydraulic oil circuits are used for connecting hydraulic components on static and dynamic test benches, as well as pumps, cylinders, and directional control valves. These systems feature a robust locking mechanism with large cross-section balls that are insulated to prevent clogging. Sealing parts are protected from external impacts, and protective dust caps are available on all models.
Anti-Pollution Hydraulic Couplings
The design eliminates residual dead internal volume, preventing oil release and air introduction during coupling and uncoupling. The operation is automatic, allowing one-handed coupling and uncoupling. The circuit design minimizes pressure drops by allowing direct fluid flow without turbulence. Visual circuit identification is facilitated by colored rings (colorless, blue, red).
Connection Under Residual Pressure
These hydraulic circuits are suitable for applications needing connection under residual pressure, such as hydraulic core circuits on injection press molds and rolling mill trains. A central relief valve in the socket or plug valve lowers residual pressure, allowing oil release necessary for valve movement.
Technical Data
Working temperatures range from -15°C to +150°C depending on the seal type (Nitrile or Fluorocarbon). Maximum working pressures vary by model, with SBA 08 supporting up to 450 bar. Main parts are made from chrome and carbon steel with corrosion protection, and protective dust caps are made from polyethylene or polyvinyl acetal.
Construction and Compatibility
Protective dust caps are available for all models, with specific part numbers for sockets and plugs. The Fluorocarbon seal option is available for all models, and connection under residual pressure is an option for SBA 08 and 12. Circuit identification is enhanced with colored rings, and specific part numbers are provided for different configurations.

SBA anti-pollution hydraulic couplings ... The anti-pollution generation A design that eliminates residual dead internal volume: p • revents a specific volume of oil being released at every uncoupling operation, p • revents the introduction of the same specific volume of air at every coupling operation. Robust, protected locking mechanism Great number of large cross section balls, that are completely insulated and that cannot clog. Protected sealing parts Sealing faces and seals protected from external impacts. Automatic operation Coupling and uncoupling in one movement, one-handed. Protective...

... high resistance to all pressures Connection under residual pressure Lowering of the residual pressure by a central relief valve built into the socket valve or the plug valve. Circuit under residual pressure Automatic opening of this valve allows the volume of oil necessary for the backward movement of the valve to be released into the hose that is not under pressure. SBA / PA with pressure relief Applications All hydraulic circuits needing to be connected under residual pressure: h • ydraulic core circuits on injection press moulds h • ydraulic circuits on rolling mill trains
