Pvc-U structured sewage pipes, StabilE.CO.® SN4-SN8, are designed for underground discharge of sewerage and rainwater, conforming to EN 13476-2 standards. The pipes feature a three-layer structure: two highly resistant outer layers and a cellular structured core. Key properties include an elastic modulus greater than 3000 Mpa, hydraulic tightness of 0.5 bar, and resistance to compression, chemicals, and long-term use (over 50 years).
The pipes are non-pressurized and comply with UNI EN 13476-3 stiffness class SN4-SN8. They are supplied in 6-meter bars with EPDM gaskets per UNI EN 681/1 WC standards. Markings and certification are required, and manufacturers must provide test certificates for stiffness, flexibility, resistance, and leakage tightness.
Performance tests include abrasion resistance (EN 285), ring stiffness (EN 13476-2, ISO 9969), impact resistance, ring flexibility, longitudinal shrinkage, creep ratio, and tightness under pressure and negative pressure. The pipes meet or exceed all specified requirements.
Available in diameters from 110 mm to 500 mm, with varying wall thicknesses for SN4 and SN8 classes. The pipes are suitable for permanent liquid temperatures up to 40°C and can withstand traffic loads of 18 t/axle.
Installation conditions include trench specifications and coverage requirements. Reference standards include EN 13476-2, ENV 1046, and UNI EN 1610.
Proper installation ensures safety and longevity. Guidelines include manual abutment and filling, compacting with feet, and machine compaction with specific materials. Backfill should be completed in layers, avoiding direct compaction on the pipe.
