Temperature: -10°C Pressure: max. 5 bar Material: Casing Cover - Aluminium Impeller - Aluminium Shaft - HTS Molybdenum Steel Fasteners - Zinc Plated Steel Sealing: Glandless Design Flanges: BS4504 PN6 (as Standard) APPLICATION Oil Circulation in the following :- power transmission, distribution and electric traction locomotive transformers. DESIGN The static transformer axial ‘IN-LINE’ pump is basically a Centrifugal pump with a driving motor assembly as a single unit on a common shaft. The transformer oil circulates through the windings thus eliminating any seal shaft and avoiding the danger of oil leakage or entry of air. The in-line arrangement allows for the direct mounting in a horizontal or vertical position with a flow directed either way with the advantage of being compact. The static transformer 'ELBOW' pump is basically a pump with a driving motor assembly as a single unit on a common shaft. The transformer oil circulates through the windings thus eliminating any seal shaft and avoiding the danger of oil leakage or entry of air. The complete unit can be arranged for horizontal or vertical mounting with a variety of discharge branch positions based on end suction and side discharge. CONSTRUCTION Casing Pressure Maximum 5 bar Position of Branches Inline or 90° flanges available Flanges BS 4504 PN6 available as standard BS 4504 PN10, BS table ‘D’ and ANSI B16.1 125lb FF also available.
