Hydrosorb® Gas Purification Systems Hydrosorb® gas purification systems are designed for the removal of moisture from gas flows. The applied process is based on physisorption: Physisorption: moisture (and carbon dioxide) are physically bound to a porous mass and therefore permanently removed from the gas flow. Molecular sieve 5A is used as absorption material. Hydrosorb® Rare gases, N2, H2, CO, CO2, saturated HC halogenated HC, N2O, O2 and compressed air Moisture (and carbon dioxide) physisorption Moisture < 20 ppb Applicable for Removed contaminants Process Final purity Hydrosorb® Small cartridge Helium moisture 1 Ltr no 1 m3/h Shield gas Capacity Optical indication Max. gas flow Max. working pressure Length Diameter Material Large cartridge Argon Moisture 100 Ltr no 10 m3/h 10 bar 1) 1.170 mm 71 mm Aluminium Complete with 2 diaphragm type valves Connections: NPTF ¼” single 123348 1) Small cartridges can be applied with high pressure housing PN200 for working pressure up to 200 bar.
