Product catalog summary
Product Description
SPECTEC's Proximity/Zero Speed position sensors are designed to operate in the presence of a low magnetic field. They offer bi-polar activation as standard, with uni-polar and omni-polar options available for higher pulse resolution. Various output configurations are available to meet different interface requirements. Intrinsically safe versions are available as per bulletins IS160 and IS161.
Specifications
  • Supply Voltage (Vs): 4.0 to 30 VDC at ≤ 18 mA, reverse polarity protected.
  • Signal Output (Vo): Typically 'Normally High', except for PNP output which is 'Normally Low'.
  • Operating Frequency: Standard: 0 to ~20 kHz; High Speed: 0 to ~100 kHz.
  • Air Gap: ≤ .160” typically, ≤ 1” with extra strong 5K Gauss magnets.
  • Rise/Fall Time: 0.10 µs to 2 µs, dependent on configuration.
  • Temperature Range: 2TE: -40° to 221°F (-40° to 105°C); 3TE: -40° to 300°F (-40° to 150°C), may be reduced based on configuration.
  • Construction: 300 Series Stainless Steel Housing & Face, Solid Epoxy Encapsulation.
  • Compliance: CE-Compliance with EN55011, EN50082-2.
Options
Custom configurations, special materials, and temperature probes (NTC10, RTD100, or others) are available. Sensors can be configured for different magnetic pole activations and high-speed applications.
Order Information
  • Style Options: Various thread and diameter options available, including 3/8-24 UNF and M10 x 1.25.
  • Temperature Range Options: 2TE and 3TE configurations for different temperature ranges.
  • Signal Output Options: NPN and PNP configurations with Normally High or Low outputs.
  • Sensor Type Options: Uni-Polar, Bi-Polar, Omni-Polar, and High-Speed types available.
