It contains extra additives which optimize the extreme pressure characteristics of sulfur. This means cleaner and better operations, extended tool life and the ability to machine stainless steel alloys. Toolife® 848, when combined in equal parts with Toolife® 848 blending oil, can be converted to a costeffective cutting fluid, which will machine all types of ferrous alloys. This eliminates the need for a different fluid for each operation. With just these two products, you can machine every grade of steel in any type of machining from simple drilling to the more demanding automatic operations. Toolife® 848 is a high performance, specialized cutting fluid which can perform a broad spectrum of operations providing improvements in production, tool life, quality and cost.
