Partial Discharge Calibrators are used to calibrate the partial Discharge Instrument to the actual sensor and machine situation. The PPG-0010 has 4 different Output Ranges as 500pC, 1’000pC, 5’000pC and 10’000pC, which makes it ideal for calibration of the rotating machines. A build in high voltage step generator allows to use only one single low capacitance charge capacitor of less than 100pF. The Build in USB rechargable LiPoly battery allows a long usage and a flexible and fast recharging of the calibrator. Auto Power Off feature prevent the calibrator from discharged during transportation. The battery of the PPG-0010 is recharged throught the build in USB interface. When directly powered it can be used continuously without discharging the battery.
