Partial Discharge High Frequency Current Transformer - ø24mm Diameter 24mm Wideband Frequency Range 600kHz.. 20MHz General Description PD Measurements with Surge Capacitors on Generators and large industrial Motors The HFT-0024 Partial Discharge High Frequency Current Transformer is idealy suited for Partial Discharge measurements especially when used in combination with surge capacitors for online partial Discharge measurements/monitoring. The use of the HFT-0024 allows to use the surge capacitor (which is used for the protection of the generator winding) as a partial discharge coupling capacitor. The HFT-0024 offers a standard BNC female connector for an easy connection together with standard coaxial cables as RG58. A suitable mounting bracked is supplied with the HFT-0024 which allows an easy mounting in most of the installation locations.
