The valves can be used for shut-off as well as for control applications within a wide temperature range. The valve body is made in one piece for DN 25-50, while DN 80-400 has a 2-piece body. The valve body is split beside the centreline of the shaft. The seats can be replaced without removing the actuator. Flange standard SOMAS ball valves type SKV in this data sheet are equipped with flanges. The valve sizes DN 25-50 can be drilled for PN 40, Class 150 / ISO PN 25 and Class 300 / ISO PN 50, while DN 80-400 can be drilled for PN 10, PN 16 and PN 25 and Class 150 / ISO PN 20. The valves can be fitted with SOMAS manual, on/off or control actuators in accordance with the selection table. The valves will then be delivered as tested units ready for installation.
