In 1986 SOMAB invented & developed a really multi-functional machine which was called POLYMAB European patented N° 0368977 and United States patented N° 5,052,089 (the first version of our Genymab ). Thermal conductivity coefficient of GRANITAN is about 50 times lower than cast iron. It provides a very high geometrical stability to the machine.
