The Expansion Power Supply Unit (EPSU) is designed to provide power to edge Remote Optical Units (edgeROUs) that cannot be powered directly from the edgeHUB. System Architecture

EPSU Topology
The edgeHUB provides optical signaling for 32 and power for 16 edgeROUs. The EPSU can accommodate up to three power supply modules (HOPSUs), each with eight power ports. Each port can power one or two edgeROUs, allowing a fully-configured EPSU to power up to 48 edgeROUs.

EPSU Components

Front Panel: Includes ground terminal, AC power supply port, LEDs for DC output status, and terminal block ports for DC outputs. It also features a communication port for I2C protocol with the edgeHUB.
Rear Panel: Contains fan units for cooling each HOPSU.

The optional EPSU is used to power edgeROUs that cannot be powered by the edgeHUB. The EPSU can hold one to three power supply modules (HOPSUs). Each HOPSU has eight power ports.
