ILUMINACIÓN SOLAR SECCIÓN LONGITUDINAL SSoC - A60 2 AXIS ACCURATE SUN SENSOR - 1

SISTEMAS DESSoC - A60 SOLAR ILUMINACIÓN 2 AX IS ACCUR ATE SUN SENSOR SSoC-A is a miniaturized analog sensor for the sun position determination Sun Sensor on a Chip (SSoC), is based on MEMS fabrication processes to achieve highly integrated sensing structures at low cost for high accurate sun-tracking and positioning systems. SSoC-A device measures the incident angle of a sun ray in both axis. The high sensitivity is based on geometrical dimensions of the design. Every sensor is characterized and a look-up table is provided for its application. It includes an internal thermistor for temperature compensation. The use of a metal shield and a cover glass in the objective minimizes the ageing of the device under high radiation levels. SECCIÓN LONGITUDINAL Satellite attitude determination. Accurate Sun position determination. Satellite solar panel positioning. Attitude control and failure alarm. Satellite positioning in specific trajectory points. Balloons and UAVs control. Qualification Status: Flight model. Extended temperature range: -40º to 85ºC. Random vibration: 10 g @ 1KHz. Mechanical shock: 50-3000g 1-100ms. Cumulative radiation dose: 300 kRads. LET Threshold: 6MeV/mg/cm2. Thermal cycling and vacuum tests. Mechanical layout and interface dimensions of the SSoC-A60. Technical specifications Parameter Angular size of the view cone Supply voltage Output voltages 4 analog output photodiode voltages Sensor type Average consumption The Engineering Model (SSoC – A60LC) is also available under request. It is a low cost sensor without the specific qualification tests. Solar MEMS Technologies S.L.
