Specifications
Hardflex ESD flooring is classified under EN 649 as heterogeneous PVC. It has a hardness of 94 Shore A according to DIN 53505, with a spread of hardness Shore 3. The indentation is measured at 0.04 mm (EN 433), and wear resistance shows a volume loss of 1.5 mm3 and mass loss of 2.0 mg after 100 Frick-Taber cycles (EN 660-2). Thickness loss is 0.00054 mm. Light fastness is rated >7 (ISO 105-B02). Chemical resistance is excellent, showing no change after exposure to black coffee, acetone, 25% caustic soda solution, and 25% citric acid for 2 hours (EN 423). Fire resistance is classified as Bfl-s1 (EN 13501-1), and the coefficient of friction is DS (> 0.30) (EN 13893). Surface resistance ranges from 5 x 105 to 5 x 106.

Applications and Recommendations
Hardflex ESD is designed for high traffic areas such as offices, hospitals, and laboratories where ESD safety is crucial. It is made in Italy and certified under UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008. Prolonged contact with tires or rubber objects can cause marks. Adhesive is not used, so forklifts and carts are not recommended. Installation should occur at a minimum of 18°C, maintaining this temperature for 24 hours before and after. Self-blocking tiles require a 1 cm gap from walls, and expansion joints are necessary beyond 50 sq. meters.
