Product catalog summary
Specifications and Features:
  • The pressure reducing valve maintains downstream pressure at an adjustable reduced value, regardless of flow conditions.
  • It ensures constant outlet pressure, with downstream pressure variation limited to 10% of upstream pressure changes, as per standards.
  • Constructed with bronze internal components, it is suitable for sea water and aggressive water environments.
  • No maintenance is required, and it is resistant to scale and dirt.
  • The valve can be installed in any position and supports high flow rates with low head loss.
  • Functions as a pressure reducing valve, regulator, and pressure regulating valve for gases.
  • Downstream pressure setting ranges from 1 bar to 6 bar, in accordance with EN1567.
  • Supplied non-adjusted with two 1/4” pressure gauge connections and a drain at the bottom.
Technical Data:
  • Connection type: Female/Female, BSP thread.
  • Operating temperature range: Minimum -10°C, Maximum 80°C (40°C for domestic fuel oil).
  • Suitable mediums: Water, sea water, aggressive water.
  • Approvals: ACS.
  • International Standards: EN 1567 for pressure reducing valves, NF EN ISO 228 for thread connections.
Dimensions and Capacities:
  • Available sizes (DN): 25 to 80 mm with corresponding dimensions and weights provided.
  • Flow capacity is detailed with Kv values for different DN sizes, indicating flow rates at specific conditions.
Materials and Construction:
  • Components include bronze casing and cap cover, NBR seals, anticorrosive steel spring, brass plate, and stainless steel screws and adjusting screws.
  • Membrane made of NBR/Polyamide, with various materials used for other components like stirrup and plug.

10BIS BZ-1

Technical data sheet Pressure reducing valve Applications and special features • Control and maintain the downstream pressure at an adjustable reduced value, whether there is a flow or not. • Keep an outlet pressure at a constant value, even by variation of the upstream pressure (the down-stream pressure cannot vary more than 10 % of the variation of the upstream pressure, according to the Standard). • All internal component in bronze, specially adapted for sea water and aggresive water. • No maintenance required, not affected by scale or dirt. • Can be installed in any position. • Guarantee a high flow rate at a constant outlet pressure because of low head loss. • Work as pressure reducing valve (standard terminology) as well as “regulator” and as “pressure regulating valve” (when applies for gas). • Downstream setting : 1bar to 6 bar; indicative value according to EN1567 • Adjustable : supplied non adjusted. • 2 pressure gauge connections 1/4” and drain at the bottom of the casing. Technical description L1, L2, G1 and G2 correspond to liquids/gas classified into degree of danger according to the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED). The article 3.3 applies to equipments with no CE marking. Overall dimensions • Connection : female/female, BSP thread • Downstream pressure gauge connection : 1/4” • Permissible operating pressure PFA - water : See table • Maximum permissible pressure PS - other mediums : See table •θ: Mini. -10 °C Maxi. in permanent service : 80 °C (40°C domestic fuel oil) • Mediums : water, sea water, aggresive water • Approvals: ACS • International construction Standards : Pressure reducing valves EN 1567 Thread connection NF EN ISO 228
