IntroductionThe DP2600 is an automatic solder paste dispenser featuring a precise XYZ movement table driven by stepper motors, allowing for additional tool attachments.
Notes and Warnings- Ensure the machine is powered on before software initiation.
- Software units are in stepper motor steps, not physical measurements.
- Keep the platform clear to avoid needle obstruction.
- Avoid placing fingers under the dispensing needle.
- Use the emergency button or power off in case of malfunction.
- The machine is inoperable if the emergency button is engaged.
- Retain the shipping crate for warranty returns.
Setup Instructions- Position the dispenser machine, controller box, and QK982B dispenser controller on a stable surface.
- Connect the RS232 cable from the computer to the machine controller.
- Attach stepper motor and emergency stop cables to the machine controller.
- Connect the relay cable to the FOOTSWITCH connector on the QK982B dispenser controller.
- Attach the air hose from a compressor to the AIR IN connector on the QK982B.
Software Installation and Interface- Install the software on a dedicated Windows XP computer.

- Load a PCB file to display the design and adjust the view.
- Generate a dispensing list directly on the PCB design.
- Mount the syringe when the Z direction is down.
- Adjust the offset to align the needle with PCB positions.
Paste Dispenser Options- Settings include air pressure, syringe pressure, vacuum settings, dispensing speed, needle size, and solder paste grade.
- Experimentation is needed for optimal settings.
- Store the paste syringe in a refrigerator when not in use.
Needle Height Adjustment- The distance from the needle tip to the circuit board should match the needle's inner diameter.
Dispensing Options- Dispense a single item using the Dispense Item button.
- Dispense selected sequential items using the Interactive Disp button.
- Dispense a complete list using the Run Dispensing button.
New System Note- If not using a PCB file, manually position the needle and set it as X1, Y1.
