SRC RECTANGULAR DAMPER FOR DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SYSTEMS Characteristics: SRC multi-blade dampers with backward blades are designed for airflow control or closing in rectangular ventilation ducts. Intended Use SRC multi-blade dampers with backward blades are designed for airflow control or closing in rectangular ventilation ducts. SRC-Z-KSN - External damper for the compact permanent leakage They can be installed outside buildings because the actuator and the damper mechanism are protected from the direct impact of meteorological factors. Special sealing inserts installed at the blade ends ensure high integrity. Within the range of class 3 – 4 in accordance with EN-1751. The respective blades are driven by an actuator, through a system of tie rods and gear reducer in a backward arrangement. Operating temperature: from -20 °C to +50 °C 115 Design The housing of the SRC damper is made of galvanised sheet steel. RAL painting of the body is also available upon special order. The damper blades are made of aluminium profiles. Special inserts with a sleeve seal are installed at the ends of the blades. The blades are provided with plain bearings made of fibreglass-reinforced PP. The aluminium profile shape is protected as a utility design and was registered with the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland. In terms of external appearance, the actuator and the damper mechanism are installed in a box providing protection against direct impact of meteorological factors. A damper with insulated blades and width A > 1200 mm is divided into maximum 1200 mm wide modules. The modules are connected with a common driving axle (single manual mechanism or actuator). If it is necessary to use a damper larger than 1400 x 1405 mm, a combined damper consisting of two smaller dampers is made.
