Product Overview
The BASICEVO Infrared Gas Sensor is designed for detecting Dichlorotrifluoroethane R123 with a measurement range of 0 to 2000 ppm. It is pre-calibrated, features low drift, and operates with a supply voltage of 3.3 to 6 V DC. The sensor supports Modbus ASCII or RTU communication and provides status indication via LED.

This sensor is suitable for use in hotel air conditioning, food storage rooms, industrial refrigeration, food transport, and research.

General Features
The sensor uses a Non-Dispersive Infra-Red (NDIR) dual wavelength measurement principle. It has a compact design with dimensions of 62 mm x 37 mm x 30 mm. The warm-up time is less than 2 minutes for start-up, less than 11 minutes for fade-in, and less than 30 minutes for full specification.

Measuring Response
The response time (t90) is approximately 60 seconds, with a digital resolution of 1 ppm. The detection limit is ≤ 10 ppm, repeatability is ≤ ± 20 ppm, and linearity error is ≤ ± 30 ppm. Long-term stability is ≤ ± 30 ppm for zero and ≤ ± 40 ppm for span over a 12-month period.

Influence of Temperature, Pressure, and Flow Rate
Temperature dependence for zero is ≤ ± 3 ppm per °C and for span is ≤ ± 6 ppm per °C. Pressure dependence is +0.100% of the actual reading per hPa.

Electrical Parameters
The sensor requires a supply voltage of 3.3 to 6.0 VDC, with a peak supply current of <400 mA at 3.3 V and <240 mA at 5.0 V. Inrush current is <450 mA, and average power consumption is <800 mW. It outputs a digital signal via Modbus ASCII/RTU.

Climatic Conditions
Operating temperature ranges from -20 to +40 °C, with a storage temperature range of -20 to +60 °C. It operates under air pressure of 800 to 1150 hPa and ambient humidity of 0 to 95% relative humidity (non-condensing).
