Product Overview
The BASICEVO Infrared Gas Sensor is designed for detecting Pentafluoroethane R125 with a measurement range of 0 to 2000 ppm. It is pre-calibrated, features low drift, and operates with a supply voltage of 3.3 to 6 V DC. The sensor communicates via Modbus ASCII or RTU and indicates status through an LED.

Applications
This sensor is suitable for use in hotel air conditioning, food storage rooms, industrial refrigeration, food transport, and research.

Accessories include a connect interface, wall mount enclosure, calibration software, and mounting equipment. It is also available as a complete transmitter.

General Features
The sensor uses a Non-Dispersive Infra-Red (NDIR) dual wavelength measurement principle. It has a compact size of 62 mm x 37 mm x 30 mm and requires a warm-up time of less than 30 minutes to reach full specification.

Measuring Response
The response time is approximately 60 seconds with a digital resolution of 1 ppm. It has a detection limit of ≤ 10 ppm and repeatability of ≤ ± 20 ppm. The linearity error is ≤ ± 30 ppm, and long-term stability is ≤ ± 30 ppm for zero and ≤ ± 40 ppm for span over a 12-month period.

Influence of Temperature, Pressure, and Flow Rate
Temperature dependence for zero is ≤ ± 3 ppm per °C and for span is ≤ ± 6 ppm per °C. Pressure dependence is +0.100% of the actual reading per hPa.

Electrical Parameters
The sensor operates with a supply current of less than 400 mA at 3.3 V and less than 240 mA at 5.0 V. It has an inrush current of less than 450 mA and an average power consumption of less than 800 mW.

Climatic Conditions
Operating temperature ranges from -20 to +40 °C, with storage temperatures from -20 to +60 °C. It can operate in air pressure conditions of 800 to 1150 hPa and ambient humidity of 0 to 95% relative humidity (non-condensing).
