Product catalog summary
Product Overview
The BASICEVO Infrared Gas Sensor for Tetrafluoroethane R-134a is designed for detecting gas concentrations up to 1000 ppm. It features pre-calibration, low drift, and gas entry by diffusion. The sensor operates on a 3.3 - 6 V DC supply voltage and supports Modbus ASCII or RTU communication protocols. Status is indicated by an LED.

Applications
This sensor is suitable for use in hotel air conditioning, food storage rooms, industrial refrigeration, food transport, and research.

Available Equipment
Accessories include a connect interface, wall mount enclosure, calibration software, and mounting equipment. It is also available as a complete transmitter.

General Features
The sensor uses a Non-Dispersive Infra-Red (NDIR) dual wavelength measurement principle. It has a measurement range of 0 to 1000 ppm and operates by gas diffusion at atmospheric pressure. The dimensions are 62 mm x 37 mm x 30 mm, with a warm-up time of less than 30 minutes for full specification.

Measuring Response
The response time is approximately 60 seconds with a digital resolution of 1 ppm. The detection limit is ≤ 10 ppm, repeatability is ≤ ± 15 ppm, and linearity error is ≤ ± 20 ppm. Long-term stability is ≤ ± 25 ppm for zero and ≤ ± 30 ppm for span over 12 months.

Influence of Temperature, Pressure, and Flow Rate
Temperature dependence for zero is ≤ ± 1.5 ppm per °C and for span is ≤ ± 3 ppm per °C. Pressure dependence is +0.100% of the actual reading per hPa.

Electrical Parameters
The sensor requires a supply voltage of 3.3 V to 6.0 VDC, with a peak supply current of < 400 mA at 3.3 V and < 240 mA at 5.0 V. Inrush current is < 450 mA, and average power consumption is < 800 mW. It outputs a digital signal via Modbus ASCII/RTU.

Climatic Conditions
Operating temperature ranges from -20 to +40 °C, with storage temperatures from -20 to +60 °C. It can operate in air pressure conditions of 800 to 1150 hPa and ambient humidity of 0 to 95% relative humidity (non-condensing).

Additional Information
All specifications are subject to change without notice. Recalibration is recommended at first initiation and periodically thereafter. For more information, visit the smartGAS website or contact their sales team.
