Overview
SKF Safeflow oil flowmeters are designed for monitoring and measuring lubricant flow rates in oil circulation systems. They can be banked up to 10 units wide, simplifying installation and reducing piping requirements. Constructed with a durable aluminum base and glass flow tube, they are suitable for high temperatures and compatible with mineral and synthetic oils.

Design and Features
The flowmeters feature a robust aluminum frame, ensuring tight connections and reducing breakage risks. The straight glass flow tube with an internal calibration cone allows for excellent readability, even with dark or high-flow oils. The cylindrical float with a white PTFE ring provides a clear reading point.

Calibration and Adjustment
Flowmeters can be field-calibrated to match oil viscosity and desired flow rates. Calibration involves adjusting the calibration cone position using a provided graph. The improved flow adjusting valve design allows larger particles to pass, reducing blockage risks.

Optional Alarm System
An optional alarm system enables remote and continuous monitoring of oil flow. It includes an inductive proximity switch for each flow tube and a monitoring unit for up to ten sensors. The system can transmit individual or common alarms with selectable delay settings.

Technical Specifications
Flow rates vary by model, with options ranging from 0.1 to 56.0 l/min depending on oil viscosity. The flowmeters support various group sizes and connection types, including R and NPT threads. Electrical alarms are available in common or individual configurations.
