The BH-MBH series bevel helical gearboxes by SITI S.p.A. are constructed with G25 cast iron and feature three stages of reduction. The gearboxes include a helical gear pair, a bevel gear pair with spiral Gleason toothing, and a cylindrical final gear pair. Sizes 63 to 125 use radial ball bearings, with taper roller bearings available on request, while sizes 140 to 200 come standard with taper roller bearings. All gears are made from case hardening steel.

Mounting Position
The standard mounting position is B3, but specific lubrication may be required for other positions to ensure optimal performance and lifespan.

Performance data for sizes BH 63 to BH 200 is detailed, including reduction ratios and thermal power. Accessories such as backstop devices, torque arms, output flanges, and taper lock devices are available.

Specifications
Proper lubrication is crucial for longevity. Gearboxes are supplied for standard B3 installation unless specified otherwise. Two tables recommend mineral and synthetic lubricants, with nitrile rubber seals standard for temperatures up to +85°C and Viton seals for higher temperatures.

Oil Replacement
Oil replacement intervals depend on temperature and usage conditions, with synthetic oils offering long-life lubrication if contamination is avoided.

Load Specifications
Allowable external radial and axial load specifications are provided, with axial loads calculated as 0.2 times the radial load.
