Overview
The AZUD WATERTECH DW S is a fully autonomous drinking water plant designed for easy operation by non-qualified and non-permanent staff. It utilizes sand media filtration to provide potable water for towns and industries, featuring a modular and expandable design with minimal footprint.

Specifications
The plant is prefabricated, bench-tested for hydraulic and electrical systems, and requires no civil works for installation. It removes suspended solids larger than 30 microns using sand media filtration. The plant's framework is metal, treated against corrosion, and integrates all equipment.

Models and Capacities
The system offers various models with capacities ranging from 1 m3/h to 50 m3/h. Each model has specific dimensions, weight, and power requirements, ensuring flexibility to meet different needs.

Standard Features
The plant includes coagulant/flocculant dosing for optimized filtration, oxidant dosing for pre-treatment, and chlorine residual dosing for disinfection. It meets WHO guidelines and national regulations for drinking water quality.

Water Quality Requirements
The system is designed for medium quality fresh water, typically from rivers, lakes, and reservoirs. It handles water with TDS < 1,000 mg/l, TSS < 40 mg/l, and turbidity < 15 NTU, while addressing organic matter and pathogens.

Filtration and Automation
Filtration is achieved through silex and anthracite media in FRP tanks, with a filtration grade of 30 microns. The system includes an autonomous pressurized water backwash. Automation is managed via a PLC with a touch screen, monitoring pressure and flow.

Electrical and Instrumentation
The plant features a metal cabinet with a transformer, circuit breakers, and motor starters, along with a complete electrical installation for electromechanical equipment.
