SIPOS actuators are designed for automatic and safe operation of industrial valves, compliant with EN 15714-2. They can be mounted in any position, with a recommended regular mounting for ease of operation. The actuators are classified for ON-OFF duty (class A) and modulating duty (class C) across a temperature range of -20°C to +60°C. They feature a noise level below 70 dB(A) and are protected against corrosion with a 2K-EP-SS paint finish. The actuators meet IP67 protection standards and can withstand vibrations up to 0.5 g within a frequency range of 5 Hz – 200 Hz.
The standard version includes adjustable tripping torque ranging from 9 Nm to 4000 Nm, with manual force requirements varying by torque level. Flange sizes are specified according to DIN ISO 5210 and DIN 3210 standards. The actuators offer selectable output speeds, with default settings and options for manual mode operation.
For modulating duty, the actuators provide adjustable tripping torque from 10 Nm to 2800 Nm. They are self-locking with a gear ratio of i=40. Output speeds are selectable within specified ranges, and manual mode operation is similar to the standard version.
The actuators support various power supply configurations for both standard and modulating duties. Control and feedback signals are detailed, along with wiring diagrams for direct connection and round plug configurations.
Detailed dimensions for flange sizes and output shafts are provided, conforming to DIN ISO 5210 and DIN 3210 standards. The document includes specifications for hollow shafts and thrust capacities.

Mounting Position The actuator can be mounted in any position. To make local operation easier, e.g. reading information on the display, a regular mounting is recommended, i.e. the mounting flange of the valve should be positioned below the actuator. The maintenance intervals after commissioning must be observed (refer to recommendations in operating manual). The bearings of output shaft type A are lubricated with grease.
