Technical details Solar module The solar module consists of solar cells which convert the radiant energy of the sun directly to Charge controller The charge controller incorporates the following functions: sophisticated battery charge control to ensure optimal utilization of the energy provided by the solar module plus overload and battery deep discharge protection. Solar-Gel batteries are used. These are designed for a high number of discharge cycles and are both maintenance free and non-venting.
