Overview
The SIMA Master Station is an autonomous, fieldbus-based control system designed for managing SIPOS 5 Flash actuators. It supports integration with higher-level control systems and offers centralized parameterization, easy commissioning, and extensive functionality.

Specifications
The SIMA hardware is built on standardized industrial computer components with necessary fieldbus interfaces, housed in a 19" industrial casing with EMC protection. It supports redundancy concepts, including cable and master redundancy, ensuring automatic changeover in case of failures.

Field Devices
SIMA controls SIPOS 5 Flash actuators, including rotary, linear, and part-turn actuators. It uses standardized fieldbus protocols like PROFIBUS-DP and MODBUS-RTU, allowing integration of any compliant field device.

Data Logging
The system logs all operational data, enabling preventive maintenance through analysis of operation time and start counts.

User Interface
The Windows-based interface allows easy access to data via standard Office programs. The system is expandable, allowing additional field devices to be integrated easily.

Monitoring and Communication
SIMA supports online monitoring via the internet and decentralized operation. It uses PROFIBUS-DP or MODBUS-RTU for communication, with options for Device-Net, Ethernet, or RS 232 interfaces.

Ease of Use
The graphic user interface requires no special training, allowing users to control devices and change parameters with minimal effort.

Autonomy
SIMA operates independently without requiring continuous access, and can be connected to a monitor, keyboard, and mouse or a laptop for commissioning and visualization.
