Filtration Process
The filtration process begins with dust extraction through an impact separator, which separates heavy dust particles. The dust then moves to the lower filter chamber, where it is removed as air passes through the filter cartridges. Clean air flows into the clean gas chamber and is released outside. Filter cartridges are cleaned at programmable intervals using compressed air pulses. In case of cartridge damage, additional filters capture dust.

Special Filter Cartridges
AGTOS cartridges have a conical shape, allowing compressed air to effectively clean the dust-coated sidewalls. Despite a smaller surface area, the structure of the paper or polyester fabric enables efficient air passage. The rougher fold design improves dust adhesion and cleaning efficiency.

Environmental and Cost Benefits
The conical design enhances compressed air utilization, and the smaller inner volume increases pulse effectiveness. The metal body of the cartridge is reusable, reducing disposal costs as only the wrapping needs disposal.

Material Selection
Standard applications use paper cartridges made from unbleached cellulose, offering good filtration for fine dust. Polyester fabric cartridges are used for ultra-fine dust and high air inflow velocities, providing stability and wet strength.

Slide-in inserts simplify cartridge replacement. The quick release system ensures correct installation.
