The range comprises of the 320,400 and 500 ampere power sources with a separate wire feed unit, the wire feed unit is fitted with a large LCD display, scrolling functions and digital V / A readout. The 4 roll drive produces a smooth wire feed, takes up to 16Kg spool, can be used with remote control, Push - Pull torch ready and in- built Robot interface. Additional features include: EVO SPEED Delivers up to a 25% increase in welding speed, reduced spatter and finite arc control, producing welds that are well formed with excellent fusion and free from undercut. EVO FORCE This is where the welding arc is constricted to produces a deep penetrating weld, thus reducing the weld preparation geometry, decreasing weld preparation time, minimizing joint distortion and producing smooth even welds with excellent fusion properties. EVO COLD Digital control of the welding wire transfer to the workpiece prevents warping and burn through on thin materials, it is also ideal for root passes and wide gap preparations. The NOVASTAR SPEED power source range is mounted on to the New TOTEM trolley, the air cooled version has a storage compartment, this space houses the cooling unit when the water cooled version is purchased.
