VARÌADLE REACh The 1101 series of loading arms are used in plsnr.s snd installât ors that need a variable reach to fill road tankers from the top. Silea 1101 arms are balanced with an adjustable torsion spring. Balancing allows an arm inclination with the horizontal axis of 55°- 60" upwards and • Double base swivel joint, series DB64, made of spheroidal cast iron, type F50. It consists of both a vertical and horizontal plane of rotation. It is complete of two swivel joints with a double row of ball bearings and Viton™ seals. Each ball bearing is equipped with a grease nipple and relative purging valve. The connecting flange to the piping is according to ANSI 1 5G# regulations. • Balance Torsion Spring Unit, series 3D0D, made of spheroidal arm. The upper and lower operating angles are adjustable. A spring damper device is placed between the adjustment heel of the upper- limit switch end the lock. When the arm is above the horizontal axis, the balancing unit pulls the arm upwards, while when the arm is below the horizontal axis, the balancing unit pushes the arm downwards, counteracting the hydrostatic reaction produced by the fluid flow. The balancing unit is protected by u ;il¿a^ic case that is fixed directly onto the double swing joint ■ Loading Valve, series 0560, made of aluminium alloy, "stay open" type. It is used to divide the loading line. Design includes double stage opening and adjustable valve closure speed to adapt itself to the pressure and viscosity of the product being loaded. Seals are in VrtonIM. ■ Main Pipe, series 311 5, made of aluminium alloy. • Value Remote Control, series 31 70, used to facilitate loading operations. It is fixed to the intermediate swing joint. ■ Intermediate swivel joint. stines 0358, made of aluminium, type F40. It consists of a horizontal plane of rotation and is used to vary the reach of the loading arm. It is complete with Viton™ seals, a double row of ball bearings with grease nipple and grease overpressure valve. ■ Intermediate Tube, series 3114. made of aluminium alloy. • Drop pipe swivel joint, series 0874 made of aluminium alloy, type F40". It consists of a vertical plane of rotation and is used to keep the drop pipe in a vertical position. It is supplied with a handle to facilitate arm movements and has Viton™ seals. ■ Drop Pipe, series 3110, made of aluminium alloy. ■ Drip can with pliers, series 3125, made of aluminium.
