API RP 1004 Vapour Recovery Coupler for bottom loading Silea V.R. Coupler is used in the hydrocarbons bottom loading. Manufactured according to the API RP1004 standard regulations, could be supplied for different types of connections (4” TTMA flanged, threaded G3”F or G4”F). Is made of alu alloy. The nitrile rubber NBR (Buna-N) seals are easily removable to allow maintenance operations. This type of coupler prevents spillage during the connection/disconnection operations and ensures safety conditions for the operators. The Silea vapour recovery coupler is interlocked. It opens when it is properly connected. It is equipped with a check valve that allows the opening of the vapour coupler only at connection stage. The finger inside the vapour recovery coupler allows the opening of the adaptor. As consequence of the fact it conforms to the API RP 1004 specifications, the SILEA 0513RV can be used with any adaptors.
